Podcast in Paradise was created by two people with a shared belief that the best podcasts are built through great stories, meaningful connections and a clear strategy for growth.
Between us, we’ve spent decades working across broadcasting, journalism, content creation, communications and podcast production.
We’ve interviewed world-class talent, produced content for global audiences and helped individuals, brands and businesses find their voice.
But Podcast in Paradise isn’t a conference.
It’s not a series of presentations from a stage, and it isn’t about selling a formula for success.
It’s an intimate retreat designed to give you the time, space and expert support to develop your ideas, strengthen your storytelling and build a sustainable future for your podcast.
Alongside our workshops and mentoring sessions, we’ll be joined by a carefully curated selection of guest speakers and industry professionals who will share their insights, experiences and expertise throughout the retreat.

JO YOULE
Jo Youle is a broadcaster, journalist, podcast host and producer with more than 25 years of experience across radio, television and digital media.
A former presenter and reporter for BBC 6 Music, CNN and Virgin Radio, she is the founder of Reset Rebel Productions and creator of the award-winning Reset Rebel podcast, Ibiza’s first speech-based podcast.
Based in Ibiza, Jo hosts international events, moderates panels and produces interview-led content exploring music, culture, travel and social impact.
She is also the creator and host of Beat Wala, a global electronic music podcast featuring some of the industry’s most influential artists and innovators.
HELEN PARKER
Helen started her career in corporate tech world during the dot com boom, then built and scaled disruptive eCommerce businesses. She has managed businesses and teams from a few people in a start up office to multinational 100 plus person teams in corporate environments.
Helen has won multiple marketing, eCommerce and business awards along with podcast branded content awards. She is co-founder and Managing Director of Strange Magic Studios and has worked with commissioners including BBC, Global, APM and Audible, and brands including UNICEF, WHO, TUI, adidas, Net-a-Porter and Vogue
She specialises in joining growth and monetisation strategy with content andmarketing strategy to make award winning and chart topping shows.
